BOAT / VESSEL BILL OF SALE



This Bill of Sale of Boat is made on this [Date] by and between:

AND

The Seller is the legal and beneficial owner of the Boat. The Buyer and the Seller are resident of [City], United Kingdom and the Boat is situated and registered under the laws of United Kingdom. The parties wish to enter into the Sale and transfer of the Boat, description as provided herein:

Consideration: Seller acknowledges receipt of £ [Amount] in full and final down payment for the Boat, from the Buyer and title transfer to take place within [number] days from execution of this Agreement.



Seller shall allow to the Buyer [number] days to have the Boat inspected by an independent mechanic, and agrees to cancel the sale if the inspection is unsatisfactory to the Buyer.



Seller warrants to Buyer that Seller has good and marketable title to said Boat, full authority to sell and transfer said Boat, and that said Boat is sold free of all liens, encumbrances, liabilities, and adverse claims of every nature and description whatsoever.



Seller has no knowledge of any hidden defects in and to the Boat, and believes to the best of the Seller's knowledge that the Boat being sold is in good operating condition. Said Boat is otherwise sold in "as is" condition.

The Registered owner has to inform the Registry about this Sale Bill.



This form of Bill of Sale is for use by personal members for the transfer of an unregistered boat or a boat registered on the Part III (Small Ships) Register. Transfers of boats registered under Part I of the Central Register of British Ships should be evidenced using the Bill of Sale prescribed by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency obtainable from the UK Ship Register (RSS).
